Having a boat lift is an amazing alternative to needing your unpainted boat cleaned weekly. In fact we encourage all our customers with unpainted boats to keep them out of the water as much as possible when they are not in use. However most lifts experience heavy fouling that needs to be cleaned 1 to 2 times per year depending on the conditions of your canal.
The most important part of cleaning a boat lift is clearing the I-beams of all hard and soft growth. This will allow the roller mechanisms to glide smoothly in and out of the water. Additionally our diver will be able to touch up all visible areas which will make your lift more aesthetically pleasing.
We typically clean boat lifts with hand tools which allows our divers to carefully inspect the entire lift for any signs of damage or corrosion while they clean. We are also able to check the condition of your lifts anodes and replace them if necessary
